Miracle Slicer (MS) is now in the late-stage Hardening phase for product release, following major feature development and continued refinement of its core architecture.

Hardening is different from simply adding more features. It is the process of repeatedly checking whether implemented functions work together without conflict, whether the same input produces consistent results, and whether the software behaves reliably under exceptional conditions.

In simple terms, hardening is less about expanding what the software can do and more about making what has already been built robust enough to operate as a product.

Miracle Slicer is currently carrying out repeated build and runtime verification around its slicing core, G-code generation pipeline, path decisions, and print-control logic. Regression checks are also used to confirm that a change does not unintentionally alter previously stable output.

In 3D printing, small differences in conditions can affect the quality and success of a finished part. In long-duration or large-format prints, a single unexpected behavior can result in significant losses of time and material.

For that reason, Miracle Slicer treats stable and predictable output under the same conditions as a key measure of product quality, rather than focusing only on the number of available features.

Development is now moving away from large-scale addition of new core features and toward validating the overall behavior of the product and strengthening the connections between existing functions and Miracle Core.

Until public release, the priority will remain stability, consistency, and real print outcomes rather than feature count.
